Lead vocalist/guitarist - Jamaica
Ras Meishak has been writing original music from ever since he's been a kid at the age of 7.He started making guitar from bamboo and after that sneaking to strum a tune on his dad's old guitar. It wasn't until the death of Bob Marley that he found the direction in which to channel the music. He started on a more serious path as a song writer and a bass player in the hills of Clarendon, Jamaica .He started playing music for his dad's church at conventions and rallies. Every chance he got, he would be slipping in heavy reggae bass grooves. Ras, his brothers & Yvad would meet up to create music ,whether it was up in the hills or on the street corner, it would always be positive music. During this time he got the opportunity to go into Penthouse Studio in Kingston and record alongside artists like Maxi Priest. This inspired him with a fuller understanding of musical arrangement. In 1993 they decided to go to Montego Bay. There they formed the Mystic Vibes. Ras was the bassist for Mystic Vibes. Over the years they backed artists like Gregory Isaacs, Yellow Man, Dennis Brown, Eric Donaldson and Professor Nuts. He also was a top 10 runner up,representing the northwest side of Jamaica,in the 1997 Festival competition. There he performed, backed by Jamaica's famous Fab 5. His current original project is the Trinity 7 band based in FL.
